Win a 1kg solid-gold airplane

If you travel throughout Asia you will soon see how gold is valued far more than in western culture.

Vietnamese low cost airline, Vietjet Air are running a promotion where you could win a 1kg solid-gold airplane. If you measure gold by the ounce, that works out to 35.274 ounces of gold.

As part of this promotion the airline is offering 5,000,000 tickets with fares starting from 5,000 VND / 0.22 USD (excluding VAT, airport fees and other surcharges).

Vietjet fly throughout Vietnam and are expanding services to Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. If you are going to be in the region this year then it is worth seeing if there is a flight available.

The promotion is available until February 28th, 2017 for travel throughout 2017.
